| I am annoyed of getting personal message spam (from the coast of ivory or whatever) to my email address through this forum. So: how can i delete my 888-forum's account? |

I can do that for you. Howevevr, before you do I would ask that you wait for a moment. I am exploring the processes behind the spamming and how best to stop this illegal activity. However, if you can not wait, then let me know and I'll remove your details from our system.

EG - I have requested a report on how people are harvesting the forum database for email addresses. Once I have this information we will be able to determine how to block this action. Unfortunately, I do not have this knowledge myself, so I am forced to rely on others. Rest assured, however, that I am chasing this up as a priority. The new platform is foolproof against such harvesting. Thank you.

Do you want to tell me someone is having my email-adddress? I thought they just hit that "send email"-button in my profile...
And what about my suggestion? (I think that's standard in almost every forum that the user can decide on his own whether he wants to gets emails or email notifications of new pms and so on.) |
