Hey Guys,

There has been a feeling of neglect in these part of the forums because - I will be completely honest with you - there was!

Both the talk to 888 and Tech Support sections were set up in the past when there were several people running the forums and they have just remained here.  There was actually no 'ownership' of these sections by support/management or the relevant parties.  Yuv has been very helpful and drops in when he can but this is not his job and he is very busy so doesn't get a chance to too often.

I have checked with support regarding them taking ownership of the support section but it will not be possible to provide support via the forums at this stage.  Don't be dismayed - this does not mean I am removing these.  I would just like you to know the background and why you feel so ignored.  It's not because anyone here at 888 do not care about you.. it's simply due to mishandling of these sections on our end.  If you see a Tech Support / Talk to 888 section and you post things up, sure this means you should get answers.  The fact these were even here so long with no guidance or information to let you guys know this caused all this frustration.

I started going over threads and realise going over issues here will take far longer than a few hours.  I will dedicate some serious time for these - in the meantime, please flag any urgent issues to me by pm as I just do not have the time yet to go through this properly. 

I will soon set some guidelines on how we can work here (support/talk to 888)together in a way that you can raise your concerns openly and that I can both help you efficiently.

I know there will be lots of questions/comments here - please please pretty please with sugar on top keep in mind: the way these were handled and presented on our end was wrong - I want to change this and improve things so please reply in that tone rather than on what's been done wrong int the past.  Thanks

It's a good idea but it will be something that will need looking into and speaking with the moderators about.  This does take some work/effort and I wouldn't want to drop the ball on someone else.  In terms of 'talk to 888' type questions both in support and this section it would be a bit difficult

Why dont we just start afresh and call it something else

like Talk to Gil

and any fresh new Probs are addressed to you saves you going through all the posts

and any older issues that have not been sorted for individual members they PM gil for an update

Just an Idea

After all the Forum is in good spirits at the moment and all are pulling along together

Lets just all start again

We dont need a tech guy or managment on here 24/7. But it would be great if a few of them could visit the forums from time to time and just respond to some of our posts.

Yuv has dropped by like this just a few times but it has earned him a huge amount of respect.

I think a good % of the posts in tech support are purely about people having problems with fully deleting and redownloading their software and also asking for links to different versions of the software that are still availible for download.

Surely someone could spare an hour to type up a guide and post some links that could be stickyed.

thats wot i mean someone like dan who is always there to help and point things out. by no means was i leavin u guys out when i said idio wiggy as example and he offerin his help with this so he gets my vote......................ps dan the transfer is to caus3way hint hint wink wink.........you get my vote m8

Fraud and collution also seem to be taking a large amount on this forum lately. Could we not get someone from the fraud department to drop by?

There does seem to be alot of this going on and all we hear is "Sorry but we cant comment on this for privercy reasons"

Surely we could at least be told if any of these people are at least innocent so that there are no further accusations?

On most other sites support are proud to be able to reply to you saying yes we did find a problem we thank you for bringing it to our attention, Action has been taken and we are refunding your buyin.
