I have read and re read this thread many times

My game over the last twelve months has improved and was doing OK

I also stopped playing as many forum games and tried to mix it up with Sng's other MTT's and the odd forum game and was managing to keep BR healthy to pick and choose what I played

Recently started to play forum games more because of 888 day it was good fun and the quality of the players in the forum is in my opinion second to none

but because in the past I was new I still have this problem with stealing my BB's joking guys

I just cant get my game sorted its all over the place I get into the challenges from sats with good strong play most of the time but havent been able to cash for ages and BR is sick.

Same with other Mtt's in fact the only win I have had in last 3 weeks was a Forum game $30 I think

I have a few games over the next week that I have won or entered already like Killers team game next Fridays Challenge and some others

Then I am thinking of taking time away

I need help 

I have gone over my games again and again changed play style everything possible.

Advise anyone?

You gotta find out where your main strenght is. SNG ex double or nuthin - MTTs - low cash/medio high cash.

Where do your style fit in best? 4 seaters - 6 seaters - 10 seaters?

I had the same problem a while ago - i played everything there was avaliable, and suddently my style was defineless, a had no idea where to play, hehe. I began to play heads up ALOT, and the helped me - maybe you should try that - just 50-100 heads up and you should be pretty good in reads, bluffs and tells.

Another advice is that if your loosing alot, you may be a little loose yourself. stop playing so many crap hands

Last advice - play cheap games untill you find you old game back - that will lower the expence

im no expeert but i know this any time im going through a bad patch (all the time tbh ) i find tightening up your play I:E playing only top haNDS then you find yourself winning pots obv. winning pots breeds confidence AND YOU START TO WIN THINGS YOU WONT FIND THIS IN ANY MANUAL JUST COMMON SENSE REALLY BLUFFING IF YOur confidence is low cut it out altogether untill your on top of your game failing all this take up sudoku you are defo a confidence player malc and you need to regain that maybe some of the top players could help you out ( no philkiller i dont mean you hehehehe)and give you some tips i have absolutely no idea what im talking about but there are plenty on here that do yeah

some good stuff above - but how about showing cards - to or not to?

I like to creep in with AK, AQ & AJ and show my cards when/if the A hits on the flop - I riase pot'ish & they fold.  They see your slow play of a strong hand and may accord a little more respect - this can be built on or destroyed... any ideas or suggestions?  I know showing is giving info away - so sometimes show poor calls to send out mis/dis-information is the thought...

i dont like the showing of cards unless 1,its with your mates or you just busted up someone you know or reason for this when people show there cards i always note how they played it AK,AQ etc and im sure others do now no matter how much we think we dont all of us are creatures of habit soo its free information you are giving away and tbh vital information so you can then build up a profile and its much easier to put said person on certain hands thus making folding/raiseing/calling a lot easier as for showing the bluff well now and again it can mean next time you are in a pot with the same person it makes it much much harder for them to fold 1 drawback it also makes it harder to get your next bluff through conclusion imo dont show your cards once in a blue moon maybe but thats it of course this is my opinion and there will be more cheers!!

Agree 100% with Dann. I only show my cards once in a blue moon, and than there has to be a reason for doing so. (Ex- letting people see a bluff so they will call the next time ect.) Nice one Dann.
