I don't want to sound like the bad guy but I think according to the rules Stone should be the winner! The rules state that if there is a tie that the individual results will then count. Lambone 2-1sts, 2-2nds, 0-3rds Stone 2-1sts, 2-2nds, 1-3rd Please correct me if I am wrong but I think the Big congrats goes to Stone and R/U to the dino! Jeremy AKA Spliffis

fair play jer i think ur right, please don't shoot the messenger but this isn't a case of forum spirit (we all know it exists in spades in the morning league) shame on u Gil, players should not be in the awful position of needing to point out the rules, made much worse when friends are affected, fairytale endings are all well & good, but the rules are as follows:- In the event that more than one person finishes on the same number of points, a countback system will be used where the player winning the most tourneys will take the higher place. If this is equal, then the one with most 2nd's/3rd's etc. If all are equal, then the prize will be split. there is no ambiguity, it probably hasn't happened before & would be surprised if it happens again that a league finish is so tight & yes it seems we were premature as to the end result, me & stoney had a great h/u, as if there wasn't enough atmosphere to add to the drama i suffered the dreaded discon, although so important to league results i know that stoney will have waited knowing i wasn't at the table (as we all do), thx for that stoney , although i had 3rd place secured whilst 4 players still were at the table & couldn't progress futher up the league table i continued to do my best knowing that 1st & 2nd place in the league depended on the outcome, when i eventually won we all assumed lamby had won the league, which makes it even harder to say something now, both played great poker all the way through & both rightly ended up at the top of the league sharing top spot, but the rules are in place to take any decisions as to fairness off an individuals shoulders & should have been used before any final posting so as to declare an outright victor whenever possible |

I stand corrected! I run the scores based on notes I took down with Aegis, I was not aware of the rules of a tie in here but now I do. Stone90 - I creditted your account with an additional $17 which brings you to the total of 40% that you deserved in the first place . Sorry for the mixup ps - pretty much all forum activity is done manually so I might make a mistake from tiem to time (hope to say I'll never make the same mistae twice).. if you notice something in the future please pm me to make sure I don't miss it thnx |

Stone waiting for Jotis to not steal his blinds Lamb offering to send his winnings to be fair.. I say we fire some presidents/prime ministers around the world and put the forumites in charge! Lamb - let me know what game you like and when and I'll set up a tourny (your entry on the house of course - asuming the buy in is not $1,000,000 ) |
