F1 League 2009 Rules

There will be 3 tourneys per Grand Prix weekend

1. Friday Free Practice :  18:00 GMT:

2. Saturday Qualifying :  18:00 GMT:

3. Sunday Race Day :  18:00 GMT:

Points are awarded for each of Practice, Qualifying and Race Day tournaments.

The points system used for each tourney are going to be the same as in F1.

Therefore it has changed and will be run as 2 seperate events:

The F1 League will run only for the tournaments with all 3 tournaments per F1 weekend counting towards the total

Chose your fantasy team as instructed in the specific thread, then sit back and watch the race

In the event that the Fantasy Team winner is one of the top 5 finishers in the tournament league then the next placed player in the fantasy league will take the prize

To win the prize players must have played in at least 50% of all F1 Race Day tourneys

If this is not the case then that player will forfeit the prize to the next legitimate placed player

Each promotion is subject to participation and will be cancelled if insufficient players register.

I would like to clarify the rules concerning the points system for the tournament league.

The top 8 places in each of the Practice, Qualifying and Race tounaments will recieve points.

These points will be added together and form each players total for that weekend.

There are 17 races in the 2009 F1 calendar.

Because the season runs from March through to November, there will be times when some players just cannot play.

Personal reasons, vacation (if your lucky) etc.

Therefore the rule is.

I will take each players best 14 weekend scores from the 17 race weekends which will form the final leader board.

This I believe will be fair to anyone who, for reasons beyond their control, have to miss some races.
