Hey folks. When I left the card room, Jack was still going pretty well but the rest of us are busto I'm afraid. Cheesies' exit was very rough - all in pre-flop with AA vs 99 and 99 made quads. I got slowrolled by a guy with KK, which I couldn't catch with my JJ, and I think Aaron has covered his own and Deirdre's demises in his blog. Pretty nasty day all round, but it's been good meeting so many of the forum people (even if most of them don't think I'm old enough to be in the casino Not too much else to say, so I'll catch you when I catch you. |

Most o the folks here are very friendly with exception to Robertbh who is truly a saint . I cant thank her enough for the hospitality she has shown us. really over the top. She even bought us some easter treats, ,,home away from home. I have lots o footage and photos but wont be able to edit untill we get home. editing is required LOL. thanks fer all the good wishes. |

Nice going, Roberth! Hope you really enjoyed the experience! As to everyone else, some sick luck, by the sound of it... Still, onwards and upwards! Papajac9 is still swinging for us, so let's get behind him and rail him all the way to the finishing line!

well mates, it was fun while it lasted. I had a great time & enjoyed all the support. I finished in the 180's I don't know if its enough to get an invite to poker open vi, but I hope to come across the pond again in the future a special thanks to Ken (lambone) for making the trip over, we got on real well in Maidstone, so it was special, to see him again also Deirdre (robertbh) who it was a pleasure to meet there we so many others that I met, I could go on forever, it truly was a joy meeting & chatting with them all I had my 5 minutes of feeling sorry for myself, till I realized I have a couple extra days to enjoy this beautiful country have to go, my glass is empty & were going to have a rip-roaring afternoon cheers all papa |
