As a player looking to satellite into these games these are my opinions

Monday $50/$25k GTD

A very nice tournament, $5k more guarantee and the same price as the 20k was, definitely worth the effort to sat into

Tuesday $100/$10k GTD

I can’t see enough “high rollers” making up the field to make this worth the effort, I could be proved wrong but until then, not worth the effort

Wednesday $25/$10k GTD Turbo

Personally I don’t like turbo tournaments it’s not the way forward and there are plenty of other turbo games you could have increased the guarantee on during the day to keep these type of players happy, I don’t like it and I wont bother with it

Thursday $12/$10k GTD Re buy

Awful, today’s big game is a re buy, but not just any old re buy, a 90 minute (count it) 90 minute re buy I wouldn’t play it if you ran it every hour

Turn it into a $15+1.50 double chance $10,000gtd (1 re buy no add on) and I’m there

Friday $30/$15k GTD

Another nice tournament, and certainly worth some effort to satellite into

Saturday $75/$50k GTD

Somewhat disappointing, the site I have always considered to be my home site now offers a piddling 50k gtd as it’s major game, Half of the guarantee, half of the starting stack, but not half of the price, you could have put the old 80k gtd here, with the satellite structure which you knew worked, if I am on the site on a Saturday I might make a small effort for this game, but I’m not going out of my way to play it

Sunday $50/$25k GTD 6-max

A very nice tournament, $5k more guarantee and the same price as the 20k was, definitely worth the effort to sat into, the fact that I am trying to improve my short handed game gives this extra appeal, however the sats for this game MUST be 6 max as well

On another topic

There is no mention of antes in any of these games, antes were not the downfall of the 100k, the 1 in 10 or 1 in 20 sats were it’s downfall, to remove antes from your site would be a step in the wrong direction, antes and hand 4 hand are the way forward, plus any satellite to any tournament with antes should also have antes, this gives players the chance to find out what they are all about before being confronted by them in the major game

This sums it all up for me, as advertised the Friday event is billed as a $15k Gtd tourney but then why is this new Daily Challenge Friday event listed as a $20K Gtd event if you follow the link below.

with games like a 10k grd and 100 buy in and 1-10 sats. where are the 300 plus who would do the 20k going to play.

wats more where am i going to play all week now. any sugestions need a new poker site quickly going to be very boring now for me,
