I find it increasingly amazing that 888 do nothing, nada, zilch, naff all to make their presence known in the poker community at live events!!!

As many of you may know the IPO was run and organised by boyle poker whom advertised thier site to the very last.

Despite this many many players wore badges naming other sites to play and bet at.

Where in the name of god were 888??? It was the same at the Irish Open.

Surely to have continued sucsess, 888 need fresh players coming to the tables???

888 has been my home for the past 2 1/2 years now and in light of how they have treated thier ambassadors at live events I am very strongly considering making another site my home with an occasional visit to the forum games to keep in touch with the friends I have made here.

I guess what I am trying to say is

888 GET YOUR FINGER OUT!!!

Preferably before you have no players left!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Get In there you beauty!!!

have to agree with this the way papajac and paralada were treated in macau and debacles at other live events too numerous to mention does not bode well i hear the whole side of poker is being looked at and reshaped lets hope they get there act together befors they dont have one

Ive got something to say, its better to burn out than fade away

I totally agree with you Dave.

Weeks prior to this event both myself & Lambone pm'd Gill and requested that he furnish us with t-shirts & caps to promote 888 at this event. If I'm not wrong I'm even sure he posted on the Dublin IPO thread stating that they would be sent. Both myself & lambone went & got everyone sizes & sent them back to Gil, who promised they were sent but we waited and waited and are still waiting for them to arrive. They might arrive in time for the Irish Open in 2010 if we're lucky.

Ain't I glad I went ahead and ordered us the 'Aegis Reunion Party' poloshirts. At least everyone knows who Aegis is caz of these, even the staff of Eddie Rockets in Swords, eh Parmo Army

+1. Its basic marketing strategy. and commonly referred to as "free marketing" give someone a T-Shirt they were it and promote the company or message on the T-shirt.

Especially if they go deep.

Its a cardinal business sin by 888.

Also the treatment of members at live events is appalling and is one of the reasons why I dont play the qualifiers for live events.

I spent a year tryin to get them to open thier eyes. I have come to the conclusion that even if they did  it would be to blind eyes. useless effort.
