I think the team is VIP status restricted, which would rule out nearly all of the forum anyway, but I still agree with cryptic's sentiment. It's just nice to see some regulars finally being used to show what 888 can offer. |

i can understand crypic's commant also a bit. but dont agree all. and if you have read my post in railbirds. you can see i think forum members must not be forgotten. so thats wy i said from myself. so its my own idee that if i make it in the money in prague, i give 5 people that watch my twitter and support me in the forum. 100 dollar. if there are more people then 5. that support me, then i choise randomwise. so its from my own money that i do this. and its only because i think its nice to have support from people from 888. jolmer |

What bit of
"I would have thought some of the forum members were good enough players to have been asked to join."
Don't you agree with?

No-one ever suggested a forum team. All cryptic did was put forward a few names.. Also, the $100 offer is cool but people aren't really gonna be supporting you, they'll just be posting to try and get some free money. You'll get a much better following by simple being an active member of the forums. |

I'm feeling 'generous' too so I'll be giving away $1.00 to the first 5 to send me claims messages of support in the GUKPT Blackpool which starts (for me) on Friday the 13th(!?) of November. Usually lots of pros attend this event, eg Channing, Frazier, Mad Marty, Jon Kalmar, Dave Colclough, Jeff Kimber, Mickey Wernick etc You can watch the whole event live and free with a chatbox if you google (not difficult) although no guarantees of being on either of the featured tables. XrayEyeIt's often easy to outplay opponents- my problem is outplaying the dealer!!

I am not trying to take a knock at 888 by saying this , just stating a fact. The banner for the tourney in Macau stated ( Join Team 888 in Macau ) . Papa & I went to Macau , there was no team 888, just team Aussie 888. We were excluded from any get togethers whatsoever with them . We searched them out told them where we were staying room number and all and we got the impression it was just a Team Aussie. We were not even notified that there was a party let alone invited. I crashed the Party myself as Papa said he wouldnt go to a party he wasnt invited to. But we still represented 888 & the forum in good fashion because thats what we do. We do what we say we are going to do. See post Pics from Macau. Team 888. its a long way to travel for naught. The truth is the truth. |

xDWx - You're completely right! I've mentioned this before.. there have been some major changes here and not that I agree with you on the final words front.. to put it in your words - the finger's out I had all shirts and hats sent out and they never got there in time. D- they also won't get there because when they weren't there in time I made lots of noise about this on my end and told them they might as well cancel the shipment so you don't end up stuck and having to distribute the shirts yourself by mail. I raised up this specific example today again on another topic and got agreement all over the board. The intentions are there and the changes are being made to make sure pass the ball to the last moment and not drop it like in dublin/macau. papajac - hey shirts are expensive! you think we can get one for EVERY vip for EVERY event?? the stickers are more convenient for the players sometimes so you can use your own clothes and not a specific shirt given to you which is why these are often brought to events. (+Parlada) - the treatment at Macau was not up to par but such things won't happen again.. I think the moto now is to either give amazing treatment.. or get you drunk enough to forget about (from the sound of it at Toronto it was a bit of both ) team888 is just one new development and there will be more coming to suit all kinds of players I think.. either way - sounds really cool! I'll talk to pepole here and see what the potential is for a forumite team member Nice yo see you active on the forums jolly |

Hi Gil Nice to hear from you. Know ya been busy. JUst a note to clarify. #1,,, I dont drink ... ever. #2 ,,,The shirts , stickers mentioned by papajac are in reference to the wonderfull team 888 Aussie shirts that you will see in the photos from Macau. Some get all , some get disrespected. To tell ya the truth its the disrespect that was blatant that lites a fire under my butt. Enough said. Ya say things are changing , well to tell you the truth I believe you. The issues that need attention are not a secret in any way. I appreciate the fact that you do take it seriously and hopefully your bosses will take you seriously as well on our behalf. Thank You |
