Leicester Square is once again the venue for this years  in the Park, It is to be held on the 13th and 14th of August. If you are a poker nut, in any shape or form, this will be the place to be this summer, it is Europes biggest poker festival (festival in the truest sense of the word) Lessons, books, gear, celebrities, seminars and much more, including Turbo heads up matches with some of Britains best players.

Ten Tents this year include,

Book signing and Q&A session with Derek Kelly (woo hoo)

Neil Channing, Paul Jackson, Ian Frazer, Tom Sambrook, Kara Scott, Nick Persaud, and Nick Wealthall among many others.

If you can remember i went to last years event and posted some photos here on the forum. It is well worth a visit by anyone who lives nearby like myself especially if the weather is nice. Oh and another thing is that its all totally free and you have the chance to meet some top poker pro's including the lovely Kara Scott who looks even lovelier in the flesh i can assure you and is very approachable for photo's not that i was personally interested in that.

Can anyone attending give me some ideas of good restuarants in the surrounding area/places to visit etc.

I'll be in Leicester Square for the WSOPE in September but the only place I've ever been to in London is Heathrow Airport, so any pointers would be great.

gutted jack,really wanted to meet her and buy her a drink or so but going away on the 6th of aug and back by 23rd! i wud ve cancelled my hol for her but need to take my daughter away,

i might have to call and ask her to come with me instead
